ANSWER: Our Panasonic SMD machines are fully capable to place all BGA components. The ball pitches could range from 0.50mm, 0.65mm, 0.80mm, 1.00mm or higher. The advanced camera systems on the machines are able to detect the balls directly.

Furthermore, our machines are also able to inspect the BGA component during placement. The number of balls are checked for missing balls. For example, if the BGA component is supposed to have 100 balls, and there is actually 99 balls with one ball mission, the camera system is able to detect the missing ball(s).
